Thankfully, the chalet only remained a logistical failure. Genuinely enjoyed everyone's company during the time I was there, and the fact that we got just enough food for the barbecue's really comforting... at least for a person like me who simply loathes wasting food. The food was good too, and the best part was that they were spicy! There was sambal... everything, including stingray & sotong, of course. Although I had sambal stingray and chicken satay earlier that day for lunch with my family at the Changi Village food centre nearby (très delicious, by the way!), I still claimed my share of the barbecue food. Heheheh

The next day, Michelle, Cally, Amira, Hannah & I had a meeting for our Economics project at my place, but we didn't actually get much work done. Cally brought along the souvenirs she bought for us from the Taiwan though, including the I♥TW shirt I asked for:

Personally I find it weird to take pictures of a shirt and even weirder — to make the pictures look deep & artistic lol, but the urge to snap some photos just hit me when I took it out of the closet. Which is still weird, but since when have I been normal, really.
Lol anyway, the following day was yet another mundane whirl of events; the only difference was the company. Went to Tampines Regional Library to catch up on my work with Rashid & Atika, though I didn't get much done lol. That day was also a bad one for me. I was already late in setting off to start with, and the weather that afternoon was terribly hot. Despite that, I just had to make a trip all the way to the IKEA bus stop only to realise that I left my file at home. And the best part was that I didn't even touch that file the whole time I was at the library.
Stopped studying earlier than usual because all of us acknowledged that it wasn't a productive session at all, after which I had dinner with Rashid before hopping on a bus home from the interchange.

In hindsight, I guess the first few days of 2012 played out rather mundanely for me. Though I shouldn't say it's a bad thing. Once school starts in 4 days (gasp), I'd probably do anything to get my mundane life back.
